Message I think it's pretty easy to compare the two in an acceleration test, just look at the results from those that have tested them.

While the numbers vary from run to run, from what I've seen the TTZ was faster in the 1/4 mile than the 350Z. On top of that, its trap speed was a bit higher, indicating more power. Even if the ET of the runs varied, the trap speed remainst pretty consistent. From what I've seen the trap speed of the TTZ is always higher than the 350Z by 2 or 3 mph. This isn't a fluke.

In the lower gears it's more about driver since you have the launch and more shifting to worry about, but in the higher gears where you're just flooring the car letting it accelerate, it's more about car. ET tells you more about the driver, trap speed tells you more about the car.

Comparing two cars is not that hard to do, in fact when you compare them objectively it's quite easy to obtain and view the results. It's only when some people don't like the results that they add unnecessary complication by attempting to change the conditions and rules of the comparison.

I usually adhere to the saying "Run what ya brung". No excuses. I don't like to hear "but what if" arguments, I like to compare what's right here, right now, since that's the closest you're going to get to a real world comparison. That's why I run my car at the track with my full interior, pump gas and with street tires.

If someone tells me that their 350Z can hang with my Z, I'll give them the chance to prove themself, I won't dog them for it.I've already told everyone here what my car ran, it's not the best but it's at least respectable. I just want to see a intake+exhaust 350Z deliver a 13.0 on street tires and pump gas and then I'll believe them that a 350Z modded with intake and exhaust can hang with a stage 3 TT.
